Resumo

Curitiba passou por muitas intervenções urbanísticas nas últimas décadas. O Instituto de Pesquisa e Planejamento Urbano de Curitiba teve papel fundamental nessas transformações, na instituição arquitetos e urbanistas criaram projetos para remodelar a cidade. Esses projetos eram representados na forma do croqui, parte dessas imagens está presente no livro Traços de Curitiba, 2020. Assim, este artigo tem como objetivo compreender os regimes visuais produzidos a partir dos croquis presentes nesse livro, visando responder a indagação de como ‘ver’ além da superfície dos croquis realizados por profissionais técnicos do Ippuc e explicitar as relações culturais e históricas, políticas e estéticas contidas nessas representações? Esta pesquisa tem caráter qualitativo e realizou uma análise de imagens nesses croquis, as reflexões foram feitas acerca das relações políticas e históricas na qual essas imagens estão enquadradas. Por fim, entendemos que as representações não são apenas fruto da história, mas que também a constrói, desse modo buscamos contribuir para os estudos da história do design no Paraná e para os estudos de Expressão Gráfica.

Abstract

Curitiba has undergone many urban interventions in recent decades. The Institute of Research and Urban Planning of Curitiba played a fundamental role in these transformations, at the institution architects and urban planners carried out projects to remodel the city. These projects were represented in sketch form, part of these images are present in the book Traços de Curitiba, 2020. Thus, this article aims to understand the visual regimes produced from the sketches present in this book, answering the question of how ‘ see ‘beyond the surface of the sketches made by technical professionals from Ippuc and explain the cultural and historical, political and aesthetic relationships contained in these representations? This research has a qualitative character and carried out an analysis of images in these sketches, reflections were made about the political and historical relationships in which these images are framed. Finally, we understand that representations are not only the result of history, but that they are also constructed, in this way we seek to contribute to studies of the history of design in Paraná and to studies of Graphic Expression.
