Resumo

A presente pesquisa propõe uma abordagem teórica sobre as relações entre deficiência visual, imagem háptica e sentido háptico a partir de livros infantis com ilustrações táteis. Também expõe perspectivas e métodos necessários para realização de livros ilustrados inclusivos para crianças cegas. Por meio de revisão de artigos, é possível verificar a relevância de projetos de design que incluem, além da ilustração, elementos táteis que viabilizem, para crianças cegas, a imersão necessária, visando o pleno envolvimento e aproveitamento do conteúdo literário. É preciso se aprofundar no conhecimento sobre o usuário infantil em sua fiel realidade, investigando fundamentos, fenômenos, experiências e limitações. Nesse sentido, o artigo tem como principal finalidade apurar e analisar os obstáculos, características e diretrizes no desenvolvimento de imagens táteis em livros infantis..

Abstract

This research proposes a theoretical approach to the relationships between visual impairment, haptic image and haptic sense based on children’s books with tactile illustrations. It also exposes perspectives and methods necessary for creating inclusive illustrated books for blind children. By reviewing articles, it is possible to verify the relevance of design projects that include, in addition to illustration, tactile elements that enable, for blind children, the necessary immersion, aiming for full involvement and enjoyment of the literary content. It is necessary to deepen the knowledge about the child user in their true reality, investigating foundations, phenomena, experiences and limitations. In this sense, the main purpose of the article is to investigate and analyze the obstacles, characteristics and guidelines in the development of tactile images in children’s books.
