Resumo
Considerando os aspectos do processo  projetual, colocamo-nos face às novas tecnologias da informática, Inteligência Artificial (Sistemas Especialistas) e CAD, para verificar as reais possibilidades de automatização no processo de concepção em Design através da proposta de uma metodologia para a construção de um sistema inteligente capaz de auxiliar o designer nas tarefas projetuais, tendo como foco a concepção, e como estudo de caso a indústria de calçados.

Abstract
Considering the aspects of the process projetual, we placed ourselves face to the new technologies of the computer science, Artificial Intelligence (Specialist Systems) and CAD, to verify the real automation possibilities in the conception process in Design trough the proposal of a methodology for the construction of an intelligent system capable to aid the designer in the tasks projectuais, tends as focus the conception, and as case study the industry of footwears.
