Resumen

La humanidad esta en la era de la información y el conocimiento, en la que cada vez cobran más importancia la informática, las telecomunicaciones y la comunicación audiovisual. Uno de los grandes retos para la educación del siglo XXI, lo constituyen las Tecnologías de la Información y la comunicación (TIC). Los procesos pedagógicos y en particular los de formación de profesionales universitarios se ven sensiblemente modificados con el uso de estas TIC, imponiendo al profesor universitario el reto de alcanzar una superación de excelencia.  En el trabajo abordaremos la utilización de las TIC como herramientas de consulta y apoyo en la enseñanza de la Expresión Gráfica en la carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, así como recursos didácticos elaborados con este fin y que constituyen un soporte indispensable en el proceso de enseñanza. La utilización de estos elementos ha contribuido a  que el estudiante adopte un papel más  activo durante el proceso, mejorando la efectividad de su estudio independiente e incidiendo de forma positiva en el desarrollo de sus habilidades.

Abstract

The humanity is in the era of the information and the knowledge, in which every time charges more importance the computer science, the telecommunications and the audiovisual communication. One of the big challenges for the education of the XXI century is constituted by the Technologies of the Information and the communication (TIC). The pedagogic processes and in particular those of university professionals’ formation see each other sensibly modified with the use of these TIC, imposing the university professor the challenge of reaching an excellence studies. In the work we will approach the use of the TIC like consultation tools and support in the teaching of the Graphic Expression in the career of Mechanical Engineering, as well as didactic resources elaborated with this end and that they constitute an indispensable support in the teaching process. The use of these elements has contributed to that the student adopts a more active paper during the process, improving the effectiveness of the independent study and impacting in a positive way in the development of their  abilities.
